Happy Memorial Day!!!!

What do you think that flag is made of? Try... paint sticks! Paint a few paint sticks and glue a star on and you have an adorable flag for the patriotic holidays! This great idea was created by Dreaming In Color.

Scarf Into Vest! Easy!!!

You've gotta love one step DIY projects that cost a dollar or two. And Studs and Pearls has a easy, cute one-stepper for you. She turned a pretty scarf into a vest with just two simple cuts! The good news it can still be used as a scarf after you make the cuts.

See the scarf vest.

Ladder Photo Display

Use (or build) a simple ladder to make a picture gallery display like A Diamond In The Stuff! It is such a fun way to display pictures, paper or fabric.

DIY Book Ledges

Don't you love the way that And Then There Was Home displays her childrens' books on these DIY ledges? The kids can see all the titles and pictures and can choose what they want instead of scattering the books all over the floor! Great idea that doesn't cost that much money to implement! What a dreamy reading area!

Summer Survival Guide (Painted Rock Garden)

Positively Splendid has hosted a month of Summer Survival ideas where other blogger contribute. Some truly great ideas and inspiration are all in one post today since it is the last day! I love recaps of great series.

Head over to Positively Splendid to check out ideas that will enhance your summer.

One of the ideas I will definitely be doing this summer with my kids is making a painted rock garden contributed by Living With Punks! My kids will eat this idea up. I'm not so sure the rocks will look as cute as these, but they will be colorful!

Bowtie Onesie!

I've seen a lot of onesies that have ties sewn or ironed on, but rarely have I seen a onesie with a bowtie! These bowtie onesies from Shwin and Shwin are super stylish for infants to toddlers! They can't pull them off! I'm making some of these for my little guy! I'll probably give some away for shower gifts too!

Some Beautiful Highlights!

Here are just a few of the really cool projects I liked at today's party. I plan on posting a few more another day! Hope you like them!

Make a chevron print out of yarn like Tattered and Inked did. It will add some texture and variety to the print! I think it looks very cool.

I love all things bandana so this bandana skirt caught my eye! What a fun twirl skirt for a little girl. Sun Scholars has the tutorial.

This shirt with a bow in the back is so cute! Usually it is the front of the shirt that is embellished, but I'm loving this idea from Inspiration and Realisation.

Belts are "in" right now and this ribbon belt is "hot." The ribbon and the fabric flowers are darling, not to mention the colors! See how to make this at Love City!

Here is another great belt to add to your wardrobe! Not only is this elastic rosette belt super stylish, it is SUPER easy to make! I think you could make 5 or 6 in one hour. See how at Suburbs Mama!

Don't you wish you could wear a cute nursing shirt after a baby comes? Well, I Make Stuff has come up with not only a cute nursing shirt, but a drop-dead gorgeous ruffly nursing shirt. You've got to see how to make one for yourself.

Turn some old (or new molding) into a fun sign. Don't you love the colors, words and "essence" of this baseboard sign at Craftberry Bush! Beautiful!!!

MOST VIEWED LINK LAST WEEK!

Looking for a summer tan without using a tanning bed or chancing skin cancer by soaking up the sun? The Exchange got almost 200 views last week for her "perfect" self-tanning lotion recipe! She also gives some directions and tips about applying it. See the self-tanning lotion post.

BLOG TIP FOR THE WEEK!

This week's blog tip is brought to you by I'm Topsy Turvy!

Learn how to make a watermark on your photos (and other things). I've always wondered how people put their blog name or other words on photos and Ashlee shows you how! (You may need to scroll down a bit on this post. For some reason, there is a big blank spot at the top of the post.)

Don't forget to check out the Giveaway Directory tomorrow! It amazes me how few people enter giveaways. This is your chance at free stuff! FYI, this link is only open for two days. If you are going to do a giveaway and want to feature it here, make sure you link it up sometime on Thursday or Friday.

The Next Categorically Crafting show will be "Father's Day!" Look for details next week!

You know what to do. Enter your project (up to 4 links), tip, idea, recipe, whatever. Visit others. Leave comments. PLEASE NO ETSY SHOPS! Come back again in the next few days more projects are added throughout the week. Let the fun begin! (Because blogging is not my full-time job, I will not be able to visit every link. I apologize.)
