I love this idea from Landee See, Landee Do (contributing this at I Heart Naptime). She changed out her ugly door stops and put a decorative finial in its place. Now it is the most stylish door stop I have ever seen!
Don't you love the way that And Then There Was Home displays her childrens' books on these DIY ledges? The kids can see all the titles and pictures and can choose what they want instead of scattering the books all over the floor! Great idea that doesn't cost that much money to implement! What a dreamy reading area!

I'm a huge fan of molding and fancy detailing on walls (not that I have it in my house, but I want it there!) Decor Chick made this plain wall fancy by adding some paneling. It didn't cost much to do this! You can see the paneled wall tutorial HERE.
