Chunky Floor Mirror!

I'm loving this big, chunky floor mirror made by Craft Goodies. She took one of those cheap "floor length" mirrors from the store and made it into this gorgeous mirror to rival an expensive mirror! Way better than the ones from Pottery Barn.

.

Another cool thing about this mirror is that it is self-standing!!! While there is not a complete tutorial, she does give some instructions and pictures which will help you figure it out yourself.

.

2 EASY Shrugs (from t-shirts)

Wobi Sobi will help you turn a regular t-shirt into a darling shrug! She made two different styles. Both of them are EASY, quick and adorable.

See the t-shirt to shrug tutorial.

I'm totally in love with carrots and there are amazing carrot ideas linked up today! I think these patterned carrots from Deck The Halls are simply adorable. .

Crochet some circles and turn them into an adorable necklace by following what Mandipity did!

Add some flair to some plain, uncoated rainboots with the help of My Own Road. She painted some darling ladybug rainboots for her daughter too!!! Puddle stomping is such a fun spring activity!

.

Dress up a frame with beautifully colored faux Easter eggs! J and J Home claim this gorgeous framed egg piece!

. BLOG TIP FOR THE WEEK!

This week's blog tip is brought to you by Seven Thirty Three - A Creative Blog.

The tip is on HOW-TO: Choose a Link Party Service.

If you are thinking of hosting a party, you will probably need to choose from one of the two following services. Unfortunately, you have to pay to use either of the pictures linkies now. I use Inlinkz and I highly recommend it.

.

If you are going to do a giveaway and want to feature it here, make sure you link it up sometime on Thursday or Friday.

Don't forget to check last weeks Categorically Crafting Show on "APRIL FOOL'S JOKES" since it is this week. If you don't have an April Fool's Day post typed up for this year, feel free to use one from years past! There are some great ideas you can use!!! .

You know what to do. Enter your project (up to 4 links), tip, idea, recipe, whatever. Visit others. Leave comments. PLEASE NO ETSY SHOPS! Come back again in the next few days more projects are added throughout the week. Let the fun begin! (Because blogging is not my full-time job, I will not be able to visit every link. I apologize.)

Vintage Scale Clock!

I love what Dream Book Design did with this old vintage scale. She turned it into a clock! What an original idea! What else can you make into a clock?

See how she made a vintage scale clock.

Boy's Bedrooms! (3)

If you've got boys, you've got to head over to Moore Minutes to check out her 3 boys bedrooms! They are awesome. My favorite part of the rooms is this corregated metal wall. Wow! Isn't that a statement and a focal point!!!! It would look cool in several different areas of a house! All three boys rooms are in different posts!

See the boys game/music themed bedroom with these dice book holders or the eco-friendly boys bedroom.

Rachael's Handmade Soap Giveaway (and Cash For Maternity Winner)

I am excited to introduce a new sponsor (and a new love affair) of mine!

This soap is pretty enough and smells good enough to eat, but is not made to be ingested!!! I'm telling you, I'm in love.

Rachael sent me a few bars of soap to try out and for the time in my life, I am excited about soap!!! I am floored by the quality, the scents and how well the soap works!

.

Welcome to the BEST SELLER- (which I ordered)

Peppermint Wake-up Bar w/ Green Sea Clay!

This is the description in the listing!

Peppermint & Spearmint together are invigorating and smell Fresh.

This soap has the addition of green sea clay that leaves your skin feeling smooth. It has remarkable abilities to draw impurities from the skin as well as a beneficial detoxifier of the skin.

Traditional cold process soap making that has been perfected over the last 8 years.

No dyes, or perfumes, just all natural essential oils.

Perfect for sensitive skin.

This listing is for one bar of soap. Homemade and cut in the last three weeks. Each bar is approx. 3.5-4oz .

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Peppermint Essential Oil, Spearmint Essential Oil, Tea Tree Essential Oil, dried mint leaves & green sea clay. .

It is as awesome as its description!!! And so are the others!

There are a few other things besides soap with which Rachael can supply you.

I hate to tell Rachael this, but she is ripping herself off. She sells these cute bath scrubbies for so little that it wouldn't be worth the time of making them. A group of 5 costs only $3.50. (I'll do the math for you - that's only $.70 each. What a steal!!!!) I got one of these bath scrubbies and my kids have taken it over for their bathtime. They LOVE it!

You can also do the dishes or cleaning in style with some fashionable oil cloth gloves!

Or you can decorate your countertop with a shabby chic mason jar dispenser!

When I received the box in the mail, I could smell this wonderful peppermint smell flowing out of the box. As I opened it, the bars of soap were lovely packaged in "brown paper packages tied up with string." Totally worthy of sending as a gift to someone across the country!

(I'm going to send some to my MIL in Texas for Mother's Day. No need to buy it at the store, package it myself and then pay for shipping.)

I received 4 soaps that I requested. The all natural face soap, spiced pear, black raspberry vanilla, and peppermint wake-up bar! Wow!

I recommend all of them, but especially the all natural face bar. It takes my make-up off better than the more expensive soap I have been using, and my face feels great. No drying out!!!

The scented soaps are heavenly. They smell wonderfully, look so beautiful, have great texture and work well doing the job of soap!

Individual bars only cost $3.00. Or you can get this good deal of 4 bars of soaps for only $10. I tell you, it is WORTH it!!!

But, the best deal is to buy 16 bars of soap for only $35.00! That's only $2.18 each! Eat your heart out Bed, Bath and Beyond. I'm not buying any of your soap anymore!!! I've found my new supplier of womanly gifts!!! Christmas will be so much easier this year!!!

Rachael's Handmade Soap Shop is offering to giveaway some of her wonderful soap.

Here's how to enter to win

THREE bars of Soap!

1. Visit Rachael's Handmade Soap Shop and leave a comment here saying which three soaps you want AND favorite her etsy shop.

Also during the giveaway, Rachael will offer two free bath scrubbies (for all orders placed). Mention "Someday" at checkout.

Giveaway winner will be announced next Tuesday.

.

.

2 Clock Tables

Making the top of a table to look like a clock is a rockstar idea! This one from All About Vignettes used roman numerals on hers! I'd love to eat lunch at this clock table any day!

A Vintage Vine made a different table into a clock top too. She used regular numerals! Another beauty!!!!

(4) Carrots All Around!

.

My love affair with carrots continue. It actually may have grown stronger after seeing these last couple of carrot ideas! I want to decorate my house with carrots and eat carrot treats all day! Hopefully, you will like the carrots I have found!

.

Carrot cake pops look irrestible! How cute are these at Paper, Plate and Plane! What a fun spring treat! (Found via Craft Gossip.)

And speaking of yummy looking carrots, take a peek at these chocolate covered strawberry carrots! I don't think I have ever seen anything this cute! This is my kind of carrot! See how to make these (and some other REALLY fun chocolate covered strawberry robin's eggs) at Stories of A to Z.

.

These fabric carrots by Creations By Kara are some of my favorite fabric carrots because of the threaded tucks she makes in the fabric. It makes them look quite real and so cute!!!

.

You might want to think about doing some carrot cutlery for an upcoming party! Some orange and green napkins are an adorable way to dress-up some silverware!!!! See this at The Seven Year Cottage.

4 Spring Planting Ideas!

. .
With it now being spring, now is the time to look for early planting ideas and cute gardening ideas. I found four to help you get started with your plants!
.
Use newspaper (or other paper) to make planters for seeds. The thing I like about this idea is that you don't have to take the plant out of the newspaper when you bury it in the ground. The newspaper will dissolve! See this at Cottage Hill.

Use an ice cube tray as a place to plant those seeds until the weather gets warmer and plants get bigger. See this and other spring planting ideas at Silly Simple.

Turn plain terra cotta pots into adorable chalkboard herb planters with Scissors and Spatulas.

Button and Thread Storage

I see quite a few ideas on how to store ribbon and fabric, but rarely do I see a button or thread storage idea. These organization and storage solutions at Made It On Monday are brilliant (especially for buttons). It makes me want to run out and buy a lot of buttons.
